Indigo Tie Dye Pillow Square Itajime Shibori 20x20" Hand Dyed

This is a handmade Shibori pillow. This pillow is dyed with natural indigo and hand sewn. The back is also dyed with a flap for the 20x20" insert. Insert not included. Shibori is the ancient Japanese art of tie dye with natural indigo dye. Patterns are achieved with a variety of techniques of tying, binding, and folding before submerging the fabric into the vat. Because of the nature of the process each pillow is slightly different and one of a kind. This line of pillows is made in my Brooklyn studio with love and care. Thanks for supporting local business!
